Often the bedroom is the last room in a house to be decorated, simply because usually the only person to see it is you. Taking the time to decorate your bedroom will make it a relaxing place for you to go at the end of the day. Here are some tips for decorating your bedroom on a budget:

* Painting your bedroom is one of the cheapest ways to decorate it. Doing the work yourself means that you only pay for the paint and supplies. Pick a color that you love and will enjoy seeing day after day—test the color by painting a board with it, setting it in your bedroom for a few days, and seeing if you like it. If you choose a color that is very bright, consider painting only one or two walls so that the color does not overpower the room.
