What Are the Difference Between Sun Roof and Moon Roof
There is one simple difference between a sun roof and a moon roof. It’s the little shade that you pull closed over the opening inside the car. While this seems like a trivial addition, it was actually a few years for it to gain in popularity.
When the first sun roofs appeared on the market there was a flurry of activity to add these to you vehicle. A prolific market sprang up literally overnight with these custom add on for almost every hard top vehicle made. These first sun roofs were prone to leaking, difficult to install, and had one other problem that convertible owners knew from day one. The sun! While having a hole in your roof seemed very cool at the time, the owners who purchased these sun roofs hadn’t counted on the blinding sunlight or the heat that they produced. The sun roofs rapidly adjusted to this problem by offering tinted glass and the ability to just pop the back of the roof open for allowing ventilation. Neither of these ideas helped very much with the added brightness and heat.

A Green Roof for Your House
Green roofing has a greater initial outlay than conventional roofing techniques. However, compared to regular roofing, they reduce costs in the long term. They also require less maintenance than conventional roofs which also reduces costs. It would work out cheaper than using reclaimed roofing materials. Reclaimed items are also quite often greater in price than brand new manufactured items due to the extraction and extra processes involved. They also last just as long as new manufactured items so overall, it may be better with cost in mind to buy new items, where-as environmentally speaking, it is better to use reclaimed materials. Waste disposal costs roughly about £38/tonne which is reasonably cheap when you consider that it has a tiny environmental impact. It can also be done for free via composting heaps, so could be used to recycle any spare green roofing products. Creating a personal compost heap for your site has a fairly low initial outlay when you consider the cost of either disposing the waste in a conventional landfill or paying for professional disposal via an anaerobic respiration plant.

Tips in Repairing Your Roof
The best way to avoid unnecessary costs related to roof replacement or repairs is to know your stuff. Do as much research as you can. Salesmen tend to have a vested interest in making a sale. Roofing materials come with pro-rated warranties. A homeowner can find out what the material is and then the life expectancy for that product. If you are already beyond the life expectancy then you need to start thinking about replacing the entire roof. However if you have only got 10 years out of materials that are rated for 20 years (for example) then you need to question whether your roof needs to be replaced and if it does whether a manufacturer’s warranty would cover part of the material costs.
